Ik rij de oprijlaan op, en zie de boerderij al in de verte liggen, omringd door een mysterieuze nevel en met sprookjesachtige rijp op de blaadjes. Het is enorm koud als ik uit mijn auto stap, maar al gauw word ik verwarmd door de sfeer die in de boerderij hangt. Overal om me heen mooie lichtjes, heerlijke zachte plaids waarin je kunt wegzakken op de bank voor een knapperig haardvuurtje. De meest opvallende plaid hangt over een armleuning, en is afkomstig uit Afrika. Het is handgemaakt van mohair met struisvogelveren, ter ere van een speciaal project voor kansarme vrouwen.
Niet alleen binnen is het goed toeven, deze oude stolpboerderij heeft ook een prachtige tuin met mooie oude bomen!
Elke winter kan men genieten in de sfeervolle monumentale stolpboerderij van J&A Interieurs in Friesland, met mooie warme stijlkamers en prachtige accessoires! Ideaal om nog dat ene unieke item te vinden om in uw winter interieur te zetten.

Winter atmosphere in and around the old bell farm of J&A Interiors
I drive up the driveway, and already see the farm in the distance, surrounded by a mysterious mist and with fairy frost on the leaves. It is very cold when I step out of my car, but soon I will get warmed by the atmosphere in the farm. There are pretty lights all around me, lovely soft rugs where you can sink down into on the couch for a crusty fireplace. The most striking plaid hangs over an armrest, and comes from Africa. It is hand made of mohair with ostrich feathers, in honor of a special project for disadvantaged women.
Every winter one can enjoy at the characteristic historic farm of J&A Interiors in Friesland, with its beautiful warm styled rooms and beautiful accessories! Ideal to find that one unique item for in your winter-home. In short, a visit to the bell farm “De Knap” in Midwoud will be more than worth it!
